Exchanging
Monday, 5 January 2004
Yesturday was the first day back in the dorms since December and I missed it a whole bunch. I feel kind of bad that I didn't wander up to 3rd floor and visit all those people, since I didn't see them for a long time. Oh well, I'll do that tonight. But instead of visiting people upstairs, my friend Renee stopped over and brought version two of my Christmas present. We were going to exchange gifts at the end of the second semester, be she came down with something and decided we would exchange gifts when I got back. Just to point out, what I ment by version two was the fact that the first gift, a foot tall Garfield Pez Despenser, was eaten by her boyfriends dog. I guess he likes Pez as much as me. Well, we exchanged gifts and the second gift was much better anyway. She put together a scrapbook of sorts together with poems and whatnot that she wrote and some that she found that ment something to her. I read it after everyone left, because I didn't want to become a bore in this little get together by just sitting there reading this book. But when I got done reading it, I loved it a lot. I could tell there was a lot of thought put into it, and because of this gift, not matter what, I will always remember her. I wish I could have put a lot more into the gift I got her, but I think she likes it. I got her a lava lamp. I remember times when she would just sit there staring off into the lava lamp I have in my room. I can always tell that she was deep in thought, so I would never interupt her. So now, she has a lamp of her very own, where she can stare off into and think about stuff whenever she wants. After the gift exchange, we watched episode 301 of Dawson's Creek, since it is her favorite episode and that was were I was at in the series. That's it for now, until next time... Eat a Waffle.
