One Hit Wonders

Today I was thinking about the one hit wonders thing, I don't know why, I just was. Originally I thought one hit wonders were bands that are only known for one song, but it turns out, I am probably wrong. A friend of mine informed me that one hit wonders are bands or artists that only had one number one hit. So the song had to be number one at one point, and only one of their songs can hit it, otherwise they are not a one hit wonder. Once he said that, it seemed to make sence. But then I tought, who's list does the song have to hit number one on? I mean, be personally think a certain song is awesome by the artist and only that song is good. At one point I thought it was the best song, a number one. But technically it never hit a professional list. Does this still make it a one hit wonder? Another thing, if a song wins a Grammy, and never had airplay, and is there only popular song. Does this make them a one hit wonder band? Or does it only mean that they are a no name band that has a Grammy? I don't know, its just something to think about. Until next time... Eat a Waffle.
