Planet of the Apes

| | Well, I checked out the clasic version of Planet of the Apes. I saw the new remake done by Tim Burton, and didn't care much for it. So, I watched the old on, and wow, that was a good movie. Tim Burton seemed to know how to fuck up a classic pretty well. It seems Tim Burton just took the most action-packed scenes and made them more action-packed and took out all the informational scenes that were the major awe of the film. I know the ending of both movies are totally different, since Tim didn't want to make the end predictable. Well, he didn't make it predictable, he made it stupid. If you haven't seen either one, I recommend seeing the old one, and never seeing the new one. People say the make-up and special effects are tons better in the new one, but I didn't see it. The Tim Buton posters look a lot darker and make the movie seem cooler, but its not true. The movie isn't as dark as I expected from a Tim Burton movie. If you want to see a classic dark Tim Burton movie, rent Batman, he did an awesome job on that one. Well, he it is, two ratings for one movie, the classic and the remake.
