Lord of the Flies

Lord of the Flies is one of those books that people believe everyone should read. At least here in college. I have many classes that refer to this book and I have never read it. I would read it, but I don't have the time, so instead, I rented the movie. Not so much as rented as, checked it out at the library for free. If you read the book, then you know how the movie goes, if not, well, I guess I can tell you. It is about a class of kids who are on a field trip and their plane crashes. They end up on an island and try to survive. Many things happen, people turn against people. A very interesting movie about the way people act in a totally different situation. I still haven't figured out why it is called Lord of the Flies, but I know one thing... Piggy got his glasses broken. Overall it was a very interesting movie, and I am sure the book is better, since most of the time they are. If you read the book, I recommend the movie, if you haven't, read the book. If you don't have time to read the book, watch the movie... its totally up to you. Until next time... eat a waffle.
