Underworld

A movie about vampires and likens (I swear, I have no idea if that is spelt right, but its another word that means werewolves). The film stars Kate Beckinsale, who stared in Serendipity and Pearl Harbor, and a vampire who falls in love with a man who turns into a werewolf. People say its like Romeo and Juliet, which it is definately not. Except the fact that werewolves and vampires are at war with each other, and they love each other. The film was yet another unique adaptation of vampires and werewolves. They go after each other with guns. The werewolves harnessed a substance simular to the effect of sunlight and put it in bullet form and the vampires have silver bullets, duh. It was also sweet they way they made the film really dark and made it completely a silvery gray look. They also threw in splashes of color. It was very unique for that reason alone. I also like the fact that almost everyone in the film was a nobody, except Kate Beckinsale and the other guy, who was apparently in Felicity. Overall the film was good, the special effects were quite weak, but I think it was still really good. I recommend it, basically because it is slightly different then everything else out there, which are all sequals. And yes, they made it seem like this film could spawn a sequal. Well, anyway, until next time... eat a waffle.
